Scotts PreMax Hi N contains Pendimethalin pre emergent herbicide. Upon application , PreMax ensures long term pre emergent weed control forming a chemical barrier at the soil surface. Newly germinating weed seedlings are targeted as the emerging root sprouts from the seedling. As a result, juvenile weeds are eliminated before they reach maturaty. Scotts PreMax is a fine granule Poly S fertiliser with excellent physical handling and no associated dust. Consistently sized particles reduce segregation which means more particles per unit area and more effective weed control. On less suitable fertilisers, Pendimethalin has a tendency to crystalize and fall off the granule during transport and handling, leaving active ingredient as dust at the bottom of the bag & staining packaging.
